FWIW, after a couple similar experiences, though from companies other than BCM, I've come to believe that "blem" is a manufacturer code word for "out of spec" or "FUBAR" As such, I never will buy a "blem" part or complete product from anyone, regardless of how good the deal may seem MHO, YMMV, etc
