My brother owned the Blue Bandit Gto for a short time in the early 70's He sold it to a Pontiac collector who at the time was around Olney Illinois He found the car again a year or two ago It is in a building in Texas , but the guy wouldn't price it He said Don Gay had tried to buy it back before he died

I actually talked with the guys brother today that owns the Blue Bandit GTO funny car, it is in a garage in Texas, the guy won't allow anyone to see it, but his brother said the guy is getting ready to retire and is going to restore it and nostagia race it he said it is exactly the way it was when his brother bought it from mine but it was weathered

The blue comes from a lean condition that heats up the pipe and turns it blue A trick I used to use on the bikes (and not all of tem have heat shields) was to spray some Bar-B-Q paint in the pipe, and let it cure This would provide a thermal barrier fro a while until you get your tune up set up right

No newsflash there "blue flame" 6 cylinders date back to at least the early 50s i was speaking about the V8's No Chevy V8's (small or big block) were blue prior to the mid late 70s not sure of the exact year they switched from orange to blue, but I know by 77 they were blue The switch may have came in 76 though

That is the Blue Thunder 4v dp intake they are a dealer Not a bad intake, but the Stealth is easier to obtain I would not expect to see an incredible difference between the Stealth the dual 4 bbl , unless the carburetors on the 2x4 are not tuned effectively

These are genuine after market factory made blue dots for the original 50 Pontiac tail lights The lens is glass and the blue dot is glass I've never been pulled over in the last 30 years It was not always that way Once the fad took over the cops found better things to complain about I actually think that they are easier to see than factory
