Your fix unfortunately does not identify the underlying root cause as well All you did essentially was reformat and that may have reset values back to default, but as to the specifics of what caused it (i e the "root cause") is still left unknown In my case, shortly after updating to 24H2 my desktop took FOREVER to boot
