I have been having a similar problem for the last 2 days An initial internet search led me to investigate the presence of an extra period at the end of the incoming mail settings in outlook 2021 the post I found indicated that they resolved their problem by getting rid of the period at the end of the server identifier string "pop3 comcast net "

@user_1lp53t I called Comcast and spent about a half hour on the phone with them working me through the issues I don’t know what it was, but it must’ve been something on their end because they kept doing things and telling me to try things and eventually got all three of my email addresses working
