It depends on how one even defines a banking hub There’s no one definition Charlotte, I believe, is based on the amount of assets held of banks by their headquartered city So all it would take is BofA deciding to make its HQ to be NY (and not change a single thing) and Charlotte would tumble down the list of largest banking hubs There’s way more ways to define it too I think Dallas
Bank of America DOJ Mortgage Modification (private mortgage insurance . . . So, I know this is a legitimate program (I'v done enough poking around online to determine that much) I got a FedEx package from BofA saying we may be qualified for a mortgage interest rate reduction as part of the DOJ case settlement What I'm having trouble finding is what the qualification requirements are
Pennymac bought our mortgage from BofA. . . Should I worry? (loan . . . so we've been lucky in that our mortgage with BofA has been very painless thus far We just received notice that our note has been sold to PennyMac and upon doing some research I can find nothing good about these people (they are run by the former Countrywide people largely responsible for the housing crash in 2008) or their customer service based on Yelp, and a few other sites with reviews

I just got one of these too, 10 years after this thread started, and 20 years after opening my BofA accounts I’ll try to link to a picture of it tomorrow morning since it seems like there might be some real and some scam versions floating around I think mine might be real I was presented with very similar verbiage and questions when I logged into their online banking a couple weeks ago

I talked to a Bank of America agent and he told me about this product Tax Advantage Mortgage Insurance (TAMI) instead of private mortgage insurance (PMI) He says I can get rid off TAMI once the LTV reached 80% just like PMI But I did not find it anywhere else Does anyone know more about TAMI?
